Australian-african female entrepreneur, founder of Luxe Hair Transformations and a strong advocate for personal growth, Glamour Queen E is a beloved daughter, sister, confidant and friend. Unashamedly a follower of Jesus Christ to whom she continues to ascribe the glory for who she is today and all she has achieved. Glamour Queen E is passionate about empowering women to discover and embrace their unique selves.
What began in the heart of a little girl playing with her little barbie doll "Wendy's" hair, and later helping friends out with their hair, to showing people how she wears her wigs- has grown into a passion to see women everywhere, of all races, shapes and sizes feel beautiful and free, with heads held high with AND without a wig on!
Glamour Queen E in her own words, explains, "I have had several interactions with SO many beautiful black girls here in our second home, Australia, who in spite of decades lived 'abroad' (as we often call it), still feel limited with their hair options. This is SO SO important because a woman's hair is her crown... You see back home in Africa, we were spoilt for choice in terms of access to skilled hair dressers and salons where you could walk in anytime to get your hair done- no dramas. If you felt like cornrows, braids, dredz, weaves, wigs, a sleek ponytail, or whatever really- you could get it done without a second thought! But seeing this luxury was so readily available, it was often taken for granted and simply put- knowing how to manage and care for our hair, for the most part, was a task left in the hands of talented hair dressers..."
Glamour Queen E shares with us that starting Luxe Hair Transformations is just the humble beginnings of her endeavours to empower Australian women "AND women everywhere" she adds, to know that "we are all beautiful and can and should feel beautiful in our own hair, whilst wearing a wig or not, or hair extensions or not, or braided hair or some mighty fine dredz or not, or whatever your flavour really."
So there you have it, you've heard it from the Queen herself; Luxe Hair Transformations as we know it today is only the beginning. It seems we have yet to scratch the surface. And if I might be so bold (but without jumping the gun), I sense there are some mighty fine transformations on the horizon for Luxe Hair Transformations.
